Samantha Chua03/07/2023Super pleasant dealing with insectout - mindy, TC and uncle malek. Entire process was smooth and fuss free. A provisionary quote was given after floor plan/pictures of windows were provided. TC advised which windows should be fitted, measurements were taken, education on cleaning/opening&closing were done in less than 30mins. Uncle Malek installed the mesh with plenty of professionalism and precision. Educated us on how to open the mesh without damaging the frames and materials and taught us how to clean and maintain the mesh. The mesh was of good quality and could barely be seen after a distance of about 2m. Breeze can still be felt! And we even saw a tiny fruit fly being trapped between the mesh and the window(proof that it works!)Jacqueline Tan01/06/2023After 2 attempts of DIY, I am glad I have decided to get the professional in instead. Let’s Stop Mosquito From Come Into Our Homes!
** 8 April-2024. We’re entering the hottest season of the year once more, it’s important to be aware of dengue fever. The viral infection is transmitted through mosquito bites and can cause severe flu-like symptoms and is super-painful! To prevent dengue, wear long-sleeved clothing, use insect repellent, and remove standing water around your home. If you experience symptoms, seek medical attention immediately! And remember to heed the advisories from NEA’s Stop Dengue Now! campaign.
No More Lizards!
**19-March-2024. We get asked very often how to keep lizards out/away from homes, and many websites offer suggestions. All in all, just remember that lizards come into your home mainly in search of food. So if you remove their possible food (ie. spiders, insects or even food scraps) – the chance of them visiting your home is lower. Remember also that lizards dislike strong smells, so one possible way to deter them is to use fragrant aromatherapy or essential oil / sprays along the routes that they come in (ie. gaps under main door) and of course, gaps along bathroom windows if you do not have insect screens installed.

**13-April-2023. Remember to seal your rubbish chute and close your windows on HDB fumigation day! HDB and our Town Council does a very good job by regularly fumigating the rubbish chute chamber to get rid of all the pests, especially cockroaches. And they’re very considerate to post notices on side of lifts and also community notice boards. For those of us who dislike cockroaches, it is critical to tape up your chute.
